Xiaomi is all set to launch its first-ever quadcopter drone, aka the Mi Drone in China on May 25. Xiaomi’s vice president for global, Hugo Barra on Tuesday took to social media to make the formal announcement. The video has since made its way to YouTube.According to the teaser video, the Mi Drone looks like a quadcopter drone replete with four rotors and a revolving camera on-board. The drone is said to be capable of recording 4K videos at 30fps. Rumour has it that Xiaomi will price the Mi Drone at around CNY 3,999 (roughly Rs 41,200).Xiaomi recently launched the Mi Max, a phablet that sports a gigantic 6.44-inch screen size. At the same time, the company also unveiled the next iteration of its MIUI operating system, aka the MIUI 8.
